Breeding Program - Stallions | |

|
This ranch raised foundation bred stallion is a paternal brother to Warren's good calf horse "Buster", Tee Jay's horse "Sid", Mike Leepart's heading horse "Nipper" (who was nominated for heading horse of the year with the MRCA), Dale Knox's heeling horse "spotty" and a horse we raffled off to benefit the Manitoba Rodeo Cowboys Association, "Vegas". Vegas went on to compete in many events. Warren's MTRA Heel Horse of the Year, "Willis" is a maternal half brother as well. We currently have 14 of Tom's sisters in our broodmare band. As you can tell, we think very highly of this Red Road Stallion in our breeding program. Tom is also registered with the Foundation Quarter Horse Registry. His pedigree contains many of the great foundation horses in Quarter Horse history. Poco Pine is out of Poco Bueno, Annie Lee Cody is out of Bill Cody, Cardinal's Boy is a Hired Hand and Old Sorrel bred horse, Wix's Mistake is a Blackburn and Peter McCue bred horse, Gold King Bailey is out of Hank H, Taffy Twist is a Bert and Hard Twist bred horse, Apache Reed is by Joe Reed II, Dia K Uno is a Coke McCue bred horse. We decided to keep this outstanding horse as a stud after we lost his sire shortly after we purchased him. Unfortunately, we did not have time to ride Tom. We use him strictly for breeding purposes and have 15 mares in foal to him for 2004. We also have three of his foals listed for sale. |
