Breeding Program - Stallions | |
|
||
| B & B Ranch purchased Copper in 1992, when he was 18 years old. Copper was a nice, big, good-looking stallion that stood 15.2 hands and weighed 1250 pounds. We pasture bred mares with him for 4 years. Unfortunately, Copper died in 1996 due to kidney failure. We have 4 of his daughters in our broodmare band and Tee Jay ropes off of one of the Copper's sons. They are all very athletic and very cowy. Copper was a well-bred stallion with an outstanding pedigree. His sire, Three Reeds, was a Three Bars, Leo, Zantanon bred horse. His dam, Copper Sugar, was a Sugar Bars, Billy McCue, Oklahoma Star, Pretty Boy, Chimney Sweep and Joe Hancock bred mare. | |
